Marbleized Paper

Since Katrina I have been looking for some marbleized paper I made during a talent visual art workshop. Just recently I came across the pieces. We dripped enamel paint on the surface of water in a metal pan. Janelle Trosclair demonstrated the technique to us. There are eight of these altogether. Many of them look like the abstract paintings I make.

Green Paper

On Saturday, June 27th, the New Orleans Fiber Artists gathered for a Papermaking workshop. Each of the artists brought materials to place in the blender. The artists also brought a variety of extra items to add to the pulp on screens. Here is the first piece of handmade paper I made.

Floral Deconstruction

In Marct the New Orleans Fiber Artists held a collaboration project workshop. We each brought materials and shared them as we made fiber postcards and canvas cloth images. Here is my creation I made at the workshop.
