A little over ten years ago I participated in a papermaking workshop sponsored by Marks Paper and the Art Directors Designers Association. We took turns playing with various colors of pulp and embedding unusual items in our pieces of paper. Here is a piece of paper I made during the workshop.

Pastel Landscape

These were completed in during a hands on program conducted by Glinda Schafer following a meeting of the West Bank Art Guild. She briefly demonstrated the use of pastel and then let artists paint on their own.

Mosaic with Vine

This piece was completed in a mosaic workshop two Thursdays before Katrina. Gila Rayberg walked us through the process of creating a mosaic. The workshop was put on by the Jefferson Parish Talent Visual Art Program.

Layered Borders

This piece includes watercolor pencil, oil, cold wax and crepe paper. It was another one I made during Chris Guarisco "Techniques Workshop" at "The Colony" at Metairie Park Country Day.
